1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 cubes butter
2 cups flour
4 T. milk or half and half
2 t. vanilla
2 eggs
Sugar
Cream the cream cheese and butter together. Cut in flour as for a pie crust and then add milk and vanilla, making a pie crust-like dough. Roll out thin on floured board. Cut in strips (using a ravioli cutter) and dip strips in beaten egg and then in sugar. We put sugar on waxed paper and take the strips and lay the one egged side of cookie into sugar to coat the egg. Then cut into triangles, or whatever shape you like. Lay on cookie sheet or parchment paper (for easy cleaning.)
Bake at 400F 8-10 minutes until slightly crispy. They're messy to make, but yummy! This recipe makes a pretty big batch, and can be halved.
