Buy organic yellow and red beets
Peeled the skin and cut them in half. Steamed until they are tender about two hours or more. Add spike a natural salt and spices and is good with everything if you like earthy flavor. They are usually big. Presentation and flavor is attractive. You pour some of the beef casserole on top of the beets in big plate and ready to eat. Serve the beets hot.
