About Epicureaders
We’re a reading group of 6 San Francisco Bay Area professional women who meet once a month to read a book, make a sumptious meal, and chat (sometimes we even talk about the book:). We were featured in a cookbook about reading groups called The Book Club Cookbook. (Read about us on page 25.)

News

January 2010. This month's featured recipe, Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese is an appetizer from Julieta's birthcountry Spain. The striking colors, textures, and balance of the salty ham and rich cheese make this dish irresistable.
January 2010. The new 2010 calendar is here! Our selection rotation begins with Stacey in January and Lena in February. Find out who's selecting the book each month. We'll sign up for hosting at the February meeting.
December 2009. Break out the Christmas sweaters, big hair and animal prints. It's a New Jersey Christmas! Spirits were high with Margo's Ginger Applejack Manhattan's. Kelly was fabulous in her silver studded jacket.
December 2009. This month's featured recipe, Ancho Brownies was prepared by Kelly for the October 2009 meeting. Spiked with vibrant chiles, these brownies boasted the crunch of pumpkin seeds and the spiciness of mexican chocolate.
November 2009. This month's featured recipe, Yummy Yams was prepared by Heather for the September 2008 meeting. Gorgeously orange and luxuriously rich in flavor, these creamy yams sprinkled with walnuts were a huge hit.
